Event Format:
The competition will adopt a format of play designed to give all teams the best possible chance to qualify to the intercontinental event but this will be confirmed after the entry deadline
Tie and Match Format :
Each tie will consist of 2 singles and one doubles match. The first singles will be played between the number 2 players of each nation. The second singles will be played between the number 1 players of each nation. Captains must enter the team nominations for each day to the Referee 30 minutes before the start of play each day.
Singles matches shall be the best of 3 tie break sets with the No Let Rule in effect. Doubles match will be played with the No Let Rule and shall consist of 2 normal tie break sets and a 10-point match tie break. In doubles the No Ad rule shall be in place.
Hospitality:
All teams shall be provided with meals and accommodation free of charge, commencing with dinner of the official arrival day, 23rd August and ending with breakfast on the official departure day, 31st August. Triple rooms will be provided for players and twin sharing rooms for Captains (of the same gender). Should a Captain wish to have a single room, the National Association/Captain would have to pay for the difference in the room rate.
Player Eligibility:
Each visiting nation will be invited to send up to 3 players and one Captain in each of the Boys and Girls categories. Nominated players must be born between 1st January 2013 and 25th August 2015. Further, they should have turned 10 years of age and should have reached their 10th birthday on or before the start of the ATF 12&Under Team Competition, Finals until the end of the year in which the player turns 12 years of age
Captain Eligibility:
In order to be eligible to represent a nation, a Captain must meet the following criteria:
Must be a minimum of 24 years of age or turning 24 during 2025, qualify regardless of nationality but will be subject to the rules applying to team members, represent only one nation in the calendar year, and hold a valid ITF Player Support Identification number. In addition, the Captain should hold a coaching qualification recognized by their National Association and have completed the ITF Safeguarding course on the ITF Academy.
Rules :
The Competition will be conducted in accordance with ITF Junior Team Competition Rules.
Code of Conduct :
The ITF Code of Conduct shall be enforced, and in entering the Competition, Teams grant STA, ITF and ATF the right to take and use any images or videos taken during the Competition.
Promotion :
Three (3) teams will qualify from Finals of ATF 12 & Under Team Competition – Supported by KTF to the ATF 12U Intercontinental Team Competition - Supported by KTF alongside 3 teams from Australia, New Zealand, and the Oceania Region and with the possibility of 2 teams from CAT and COSAT. Furthermore, one spot will be reserved for the Host Nation, along with a wild card entry.

Player Incentives:
Wild Card Entry to Grade A 14U Tournament:
The best performing player (1 boy and 1 girl) of each region at the Finals of the “ATF 12&U Team Competition – Supported by KTF” will be awarded a main draw wild card entry to the ATF 14U Grade A tournament in their respective region in 2026.
Additionally, the second-best player from each region at the Finals of the “ATF 12&U Team Competition – Supported by KTF” will be awarded a main draw wild card entry into any ATF 14U tournament, excluding Grade A events, for the year 2026.
Development Grants:
A development grant will be awarded to the top three boys and girls of the Finals of ATF 12&U Team Competition – Supported by KTF.
- Top boy and top girl: USD 2,500 each
- 2nd best boy and girl: USD 1,500 each
- 3rd best boy and girl: USD 1,000 each
ATF 14&U Ranking Points:
Players competing at the finals of ATF 12U Team Competition – Supported by KTF will be awarded ATF 14U points. The points will be calculated as follows:
- winner of BS/GS 1 – 300 points
- winner of BS/GS 2 – 200 points
- 30% of the above aggregate points will be added in the ATF 14U Rankings. No points will be given for the doubles matches.
