About the Asian Tennis Federation

The continental governing body for tennis in Asia, working alongside National Federations from Central, East, South, South East, and West Asia.

Who We Are

The Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) is the continental governing body for tennis in Asia. Recognized by the International Tennis Federation (ITF), ATF works with National Tennis Federations across the continent to develop the sport, run competitive circuits, and uphold consistent standards of officiating.

From grassroots beginnings through to international competition, ATF supports a clear pathway for players — coordinating junior and senior events, publishing official rankings, and providing development opportunities for players, coaches and officials throughout Asia.

Across Asia

ATF works with National Federations organized across five regions. Each region brings its own established tennis nations and emerging programs, and together they shape the competitive calendar across the continent.

West Asia

What We Do

Competitive Circuits

ATF runs sanctioned junior circuits across Under-14 and Under-16 categories — providing structured competition at every stage of a player's career.

Official Rankings

Weekly ATF rankings — based on tournament performance and used for seeding, eligibility and a transparent view of player progress across the continent.

Player Development

From Kinder Tennis and Young Tennis Stars (YTS) to GSPDP and ITF development projects, ATF supports pathways that help players progress from grassroots to international competition.

Officiating & Education

ATF certifies and develops match officials and coaches through workshops and courses, helping ensure consistent standards across every ATF-sanctioned event.
