Tournament Information:-

Entry is opened to all ATF registered 16 & under players. Acceptance list will be finalized by the ATF office and published after entry deadline based on the acceptance criteria. ATF reserves the right to modify the acceptance criteria at any stage.

Online Entry:
Entries will be accepted only through online portal, players can submit their entries only www.atf.hitcourt.com . The last date of receiving the entries 14th July 2025.

Acceptance List:
Acceptance list will be finalized by the ATF office and published on or after 15th July 2025 based on the following acceptance criteria. ATF reserves the right to modify the acceptance criteria at any stage.

Age Eligibility:
Players must be born on or after 1st January 2009 and should have reached their thirteen (13) birthdays by the time of Roland Garros Juniors 2026, which will start on May 31, 2026.

Draw Size 16 (Boys and Girls)
9 Players - ITF WTT Junior Ranking as on 14th July, 2025
2 Players – Qualifiers of RG, WCA, KAZ
2 Players - Qualifiers of RG, SASEAEA, CHN
1 Player – ATF WC
1 Player – FFT WC
1 Player – JTA WC

Draw ceremony:
The draw will be conducted by referee at the club on Monday, 13th October 2025 at 17:00 hrs

Opening Ceremony:
Tuesday, 14th October at Hotel Pullman Tamachi at 19:00

Welcome Dinner:
Tuesday, 14th October at Hotel Pullman Tamachi

Other promotional Activities:
Coaching session with tournament ambassador – 14th Oct at 11:00

Closing Ceremony:
Sunday, 19th October after finals in Club

Sign-in registration:
All players must sign with the referee on Monday, 13th October 2025

Event Format:
The event will be held in 2 stages. A round robin stage where the players will be divided into 4 groups of 4 each and they will play round robin matches over days to decide the order in the group. After the Round Robin, there will only be Semi-finals & Finals played, top player from each group will qualify for the Semi-finals.

No doubles event to be played.

Match Format:
Only singles will be played in the tournament and no doubles matches will be played. Round Robin matches will consist of best of 2 tie break sets and a 10-points match tie break as decider, with no let rule in service. Semi-finals, 3rd / 4th placement play off and Finals will consist of best of 3 tie break sets.

Placement with in group:
The players will be ranked in the group on the basis of the number of matches won. If there is a tie in 2 players head-to-head result will be used to break the tie. In case there is tie amongst 3 or more players then the % of set won (set won/ total sets played) will decide the order. For further ties the % of games won (games won/ total games played) will decide the order. Further ties will be broken by draw of lots.

A match won by default or walk over will be considered as 6/0 6/0 for calculation of group standings. In case of retirement the result will be recorded as no further games won by retiring player, so if a player retires at 6/2 1/0, the score will be used as 6/2 6/0 for calculation of group standings.

Roland-Garros Junior 2026:
Winner of boys and girls will get entry into Roland-Garros Junior 2026. In case the winner gets into the main draw of Roland-Garros Junior 2026 directly and/or is unable to participate, this spot will be offered to the runner-up. If runner-up is unable to participate or is accepted into the main draw of Roland-Garros Junior directly, this spot will be offered to 3rd placed player and then to 4th placed player if required.

The players going to Roland-Garros 2026 Junior main draw will be provided with accommodation by Roland-Garros organization from May 28th until the following day of players’ elimination date.

ATF 16U Rankings Points:
Eligible Players will receive ATF 16&U category A rankings points based on the standing in the end of the tournament, as per the ATF ranking rules.

Entry Fees:
No Entry Fee is charged

Rules:
The Competition will be conducted in accordance with International Tennis Federation (ITF) Rules.

Code of Conduct:
The International Tennis Federation (ITF) code of conduct of “ITF WTT Junior” will be enforced. In entering the Competition, each player automatically grants the Federation Française de Tennis (FFT), Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) and Japan Tennis Association (JTA) the right in perpetuity to make use of any images/videos/media taken during the Competition.

Semi-finals and Finals will be broadcasted on Japanese national cable TV WOWOW website https://wod.wowow.co.jp

and Youtube Channel Star Tennis Academy https://www.youtube.com/@SUTATENI-Pro_Tennis_Lessons

There will be live scoring for all matches and selective live streaming, which will be available on the ATF website. https://www.asiantennis.com/live/

Entering the tournament, the players and their parent are giving explicit permission to ATF to have live scoring and live streaming of the matches.
