Event Format:

The competition will adopt a format of play designed to give all teams the best possible chance to qualify to the finals but this will be confirmed at a later date, when precise entry figures are known

Tie and Match Format :

Each tie will consist of 2 singles and one doubles match. First singles will be played between no. 2 player of each nation. Second singles will be played between the number 1 players of each nation. Captains should give team nominations for each day to the referee 30 mins prior to start of play every day.

Singles matches will be played best of 3 tie break sets with No Let Rule in service. Doubles match will be played with No Let Rule in service and will consist of 2 tie break sets and a 10-point match tie break if it becomes 1 set all. In doubles there will No Ad rule in place (Deuce 1 point)

Hospitality:

All teams will be provided with meals and accommodation free of charge, commencing with dinner the evening of the official arrival day and ending with breakfast on the official departure day. Triple rooms will be provided for players and twin sharing rooms for captains (of the same gender).

Player Eligibility:

Each visiting nation will be invited to send up to 3 players and one captain in each Boys and Girls category. Nominated players must be born between 1st January 2013 and 9th June 2015. Further they should have turned 10 years of age, and should have reached their 10th birthday on or before the ATF 12&Under Team Competition, South East Asia event until the end of the year, in which the player turns 12 years of age.

Captain Eligibility:

In order to be eligible to represent a nation, a Captain must meet the following criteria:

They must be a minimum of 24 years of age or turning 24 during 2025, qualify regardless of nationality but will be subject to the rules applying to team members, represent only one nation in the calendar year, and hold a valid ITF Player Support Identification number.

Rules :

The Competition will be conducted in accordance with International Tennis Federation (ITF) Rules.

Code of Conduct :

The International Tennis Federation (ITF) code of conduct
of “ITF Junior Team Competition” will be enforced (in entering the Competition, the player automatically grants the Lawn Tennis Association of Thailand (LTAT) the right in perpetuity to make use and show pictures of his motion of skill taken during the Competition).

Promotion :

Three (3) teams will be qualifying from the Regional Qualifying Event of South East Asia to the Finals of ATF 12 & Under Team Competition – Supported by KTF.

There will be live scoring for all the matches which can be seen on ATF website. https://www.asiantennis.com/live/

Additional Feature :

Player Incentives: Wild Card Entry to Grade A 14U Tournament: The best performing player (1 boy and 1 girl) of each region at Finals of the “ATF 12&U Team Competition – Supported by KTF” will be awarded a main draw wild card entry to the ATF 14&U Grade A tournament in their respective region in 2026.

Additionally, the second-best player from each region at Finals of the “ATF 12&U Team Competition – Supported by KTF” will be awarded a main draw wild card entry to any ATF 14U tournament, excluding Grade A events, for the year 2026.

Development Grants: A development grant will be awarded to the top three boys and girls of the Finals of ATF 12&U Team Competition – Supported by KTF.

- Top boy and top girl: USD 2500 each
- 2nd best boy and girl: USD 1500 each
- 3rd best boy and girl: USD 1000 each

ATF 12U Intercontinental Team Competition: The 12U intercontinental competition for 2025 will feature 10 teams including the top 3 teams from the Finals of the ATF 12&U Team Competition – Supported by KTF, alongside 3 teams from Australia, New Zealand, and the Oceania Region and with the possibility of 2 teams from CAT and COSAT. Furthermore, one spot will be reserved for the Host Nation, and a Wild Card entry.
